Celebrating Innovation in IVF: Meet the Finalists of the Femtech World Fertility Innovation Award 2024–2025

📅 May 28, 2025

At FinDBest IVF, our mission has always been to connect fertility clinics and professionals with the most innovative solutions available worldwide. That’s why over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of sponsoring the Femtech World Fertility Innovation Award, a global recognition that celebrates breakthrough technologies helping shape the future of assisted reproduction.

And now, the big moment is here: the winner will be announced today, May 28th!

From dozens of international applicants, three finalists were selected for their originality, scientific excellence, and potential to improve IVF outcomes for patients around the world. Let’s take a closer look at the nominees who are redefining what’s possible in fertility care:

Future Fertility

This Toronto-based company is bringing artificial intelligence to egg assessment. Their tools—VIOLET™ and MAGENTA™—use a simple microscope image to analyze oocyte quality with impressive accuracy. This is particularly important for patients doing egg freezing or preparing for IVF, as it provides real-time feedback that was never available before. By making egg quality measurable, clinics can personalize stimulation protocols and improve decision-making, while patients gain a clearer picture of their fertility potential. It’s a game-changer in how we plan and optimize IVF cycles.

Gameet

Based in Argentina, Gameet is reimagining the IVF process itself through a 3D-printed microdevice that mimics nature. Think of it as a miniaturized, all-in-one IVF lab: fertilization, sperm selection, and embryo development all take place inside a small, thermally stable chamber that emulates the natural conditions of the female reproductive tract. This reduces the need for complex lab procedures, lowers stress on cells, and improves the consistency and quality of the resulting embryos. It’s a simpler, more physiological, and cost-effective way to carry out assisted reproduction—especially valuable for clinics aiming to offer accessible and standardized care across diverse locations.

MatriceLab Innove

Hailing from France, MatriceLab is tackling a crucial (but often overlooked) part of the fertility puzzle: the uterine immune environment. Their UTIMPRO® test uses a timed biopsy and molecular analysis to detect immune imbalances that might prevent successful implantation. Based on the results, doctors can tailor treatments that rebalance the uterine conditions—leading to significantly higher success rates, especially in patients with recurrent implantation failure. Their clinical results are promising, and their work highlights the importance of looking beyond just the embryo when trying to improve IVF outcomes.

Each of these finalists reflects a unique and powerful vision for the future of IVF—whether through digital tools, biomedical engineering, or precision medicine.

We’re honored to support this initiative and thrilled to see how these innovations can help more families around the world achieve their dream of parenthood.

👏 Congratulations to the three finalists—Future Fertility, Gameet, and MatriceLab Innove. We’re excited to find out who takes home the award today!
